Are You Attending RMAF? Here’s A Few Helpful Tricks

As one who normally attends several audio shows each year, I have developed a few "tricks" I use to maximize my time. Most audio shows are too large to see every room in a weekend, and for those who need to return home on Sunday, perhaps two and a half days at most. Got An Idea For A Listening Event?

When looking at audio societies around the country, each event held has some type of theme. The Charlotte event recently held was about different digital sources. We thought it would be interesting to get members ideas about future meetings. They could be about analog, room treatments, tube vs solid state, and many more. The Charlotte CAS Chapter Holds Their First Meeting

On Saturday, August 11, the Charlotte chapter of the Carolina Audio Society held a listening session to identify differences in digital audio. Compared were sources ranging from a CD player, a Bluesound Node 2 streaming device to a purpose built music server. In addition to different sources, listeners got to hear and hopefully identify the difference various cables can make in the various setups.
