Meeting Minutes

On Saturday, August 11, the Charlotte chapter of the Carolina Audio Society held a listening session to identify differences in digital audio. Compared were sources ranging from a CD player, a Bluesound Node 2 streaming device to a purpose built music server. In addition to different sources, listeners got to hear and hopefully identify the difference various cables can make in the various setups. The Carolina Audio Society held their first meeting Saturday, July 21st in Greensboro, NC. Attendance was very good with approximately twenty five or so members present. We discussed how the CAS came about, goals of what we want to accomplish and how we might do a better job of reaching out to people who might be interested but do not know we exist.
