On 11/28/18, the Raleigh chapter of the CAS sponsored their first listening session. Five CAS members attended and talked about their own personal systems and audio experiences. In advance of the meeting, attendees were asked to provide a few of their favorite songs so that a playlist could be created to enable everyone to hear familiar music on the featured system. The system that was showcased was headlined by the new Magico A3 loudspeakers and Luxman L-509X integrated amp. All present enjoyed the sonic presentation and the whole event was well received. Everyone had a good time and the group plans to have another meeting in the Raleigh area early next year. Anyone in the Raleigh chapter that would would be willing to host a listening session in January or February is encouraged to go to the “Contact” section of the CAS website and advise as such.
